THE LOGO FOR THE
WORKSHOP
THEIR BRANDING
A dark red and black-green, a light green/teal and yellow ithe a bold sans sefir and italic serif type, and their key red ‘&’ logo and Yes& Logotype.
Creating the Workshop Logo
After looking into their brand book and logo, I took on a half shape pattern that wasn’t fully representative of anything yet ( as seen on the image above behind the ‘lets chat’ text, to take on further meaning in one of my iterations. Since this logotype was something to be used on the certificate directly under Yes& as a department deliverable, I thought the classic ribbon symbol merged with their branding would make sense.
Variations inspired from a simple design, a flat idea of a seal or ribbon, or playing off of one of the design elements of Yes&/
Another varitation of the proposed logo
Final Approved logo for the Yes& workshop.
THE CERTIFICATE
I presented 5 varitations of the certificate design that could be used to the commitee behind the workshop with the senior designer on call. These designs are with inspiration of a classic approach, something more modern, simple, something more creative and a design that extends on something already used in past designs- extended for patterning as a border.
FINAL DESIGN
REASONING
This design was chosen and made into the final. I then inserted all the names accordingly, and used the different illustrations within their toolkit as a sort of watermark in the background, giving a entirely Yes& feeling, on brand design that feels like a fun corporate casual certfiicate for employee’s completeing this workshop, enhancing their presentation skills.
The script typeface is one I found, as within their toolkit it was agreed with the senior designer and PSW team that it didn’t feel it matched the feel of corporate causual they were looking for. The typeface chosen ended up having that handwritten feel just clean enough to be professional and personable enough to maintain that tone.
With feedback from the senior designer I was working with I got great feedback and reached this final design, which was used for the
PSW program.
There were 23 certificate holders under this Yes& Workshop.
